But her tips don’t stop at styling! Marjan let Us in on a secret she discovered during the pandemic, when she was experiencing stress-induced hair loss. The Los Angeles-based hairstylist started using castor oil — yes, plain old castor oil — to nourish her hair and scalp and she quickly started to see her mane grow longer, stronger and way shinier. Since castor oil can leave hair greasy, Marjan recommends applying about a teaspoon amount (depending on hair length and thickness) the night before you plan on shampooing your hair then doing a double or triple wash the next morning.
