We are total makeup junkies here, and we can never get enough eyeshadow. Unlike with foundation or concealer, we can play with any color we want on our eyelids without looking insane, which is why when it comes to palettes, we want to collect them all. Starting with this one!
The LORAC PRO Mega Palette is a professional eyeshadow palette that features 32 gorgeous, “ultra-pigmented” shades. There are 16 matte shadows and 16 shimmer shades, which are actually infused with soothing botanicals! Shoppers are calling these colors stunning, and they can’t get over the amazing quality of the entire palette. They’re even calling it better than the ever-popular Urban Decay Vice3 Palette!
We can use these velvety shadows either wet or dry, gliding them on and blending them together for all-day glam. But what kind of glam are we looking for? Everyday, romantic or perhaps smokey? We can achieve all three with this palette, and we’ll explain how with three easy mini-tutorials!
Romantic and Radiant
For a date night, we’d begin by coating Dusty Rose over lids from upper lashes to crease as a base. Feel free to use fingers or a favorite brush! On the outer corner, we would then blend a very light touch of Maroon, working it toward the center of the lid. Over at the other side of the eye, we would take the Cashmere shade, forming a glimmering semi-circle around the inner corner. To finish things off, we would take a mix of Apricot and Merlot and pack it gently onto the center of the lid, making sure to always blend! To intensify things a bit more, feel free to wet a skinny brush and line the outer corner of the bottom lash line with Maroon! Always follow up with mascara!
For an everyday, minimal effort look, this palette’s nude shades have us covered. Start by creating a base with Khaki, layering a light dusting of Brown on top. Take Espresso and blend it into the crease and outer corner of the lid. We’d then use Smokey Topaz on the inner half of the lid, taking a touch of Cream for the very inner corner. For a little more shimmer, feel free to replace Espresso with Granite!
For a smokey and sultry eye, we’re going to stick toward the right side of this palette. We’d go right in with Stone, layering it across the entire lid and into the crease. If we want to lighten it up a bit, feel free to dust on some Sand. To darken it, mix in some Grey! We would then take Caviar and build it up on our outer corners until we reached our desired smoke level. On the very inner corner, we’re going to have fun with things and use Deep Teal for a pop! We can then take our skinny brush, wet it, and swipe Indigo across our top and bottom lash lines, smoking it out at the end for a winged effect. Feel free to play with sweeping a light layer of Wisteria on top of everything as well!
These are just some suggestions, but with so many colors, we can feel free to all make our own tutorials! Time to open up that YouTube account!
