Arrow

Arrow premiered on The CW in 2012 and aired for eight seasons until 2020. Based on DC’s character Green Arrow, the series follows billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) who returns home after spending five years shipwrecked on a mysterious island called Lian Yu.

Upon his return, Oliver fights crime and corruption as a secret vigilante with a bow and arrow as his weapon of choice. He’s joined by his sister Thea (Willa Holland), former soldier John Diggle (Davis Ramsey), hacker Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Richards), former assassin Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), aspiring vigilante Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) and attorney-turned-vigilante Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy).

A spinoff titled The Flash premiered in 2014, which was later followed by other spinoff series, creating a shared universe called the Arrowverse.
