British boy banders The Wanted are backtracking--kind of.

Discussing their April 17 appearance on The Voice last week, the band's Tom Parker didn't sugarcoat anything when talking about coach Christina Aguilera.

Calling her a "total bitch," Parker revealed to New York radio station 92.3 NOW FM that Aguilera "just sat there and didn't speak to us. She wouldn't even look at us."

His bandmate Siva Kaneswaran chimed in too. "She was quite rude," he told the station. "Who does that?"

Speaking to TMZ Sunday, Parker, 23, admitted he and his pals may have gotten a little carried away.

"We shouldn't have said it to be honest with you," Parker admitted. Still, "We think manners cost nothing, you know what I mean? The rest of the judges were really nice, and she didn't even walk over and talk to us."

Added Parker, "We apologize for the comment."
