Two of Michael Jackson's children, Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, accepted their late father's Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys Sunday.

Where was 7-year-old Blanket?

Entertainment Tonight reports the boy "became overwhelmed" moments before he was about to go on stage, so he sat out.

He seemed more relaxed backstage as he posed with Lionel Richie.

In his acceptance speech, Prince Michael praised his late father: "Through all his songs, his message was simple: Love," he said. "We will continue to spread his message and help the world."

Paris told the audience, "We love you, Daddy."

Jackson died last June at age 50 of acute propofol intoxication.
