Well, let's hope it's worth the wait: Remember Kimberly Caldwell? She was the sexy blonde Top 10 finalist on American Idol's second season who spun it off into a TV Guide Channel hosting gig -- and dating David Cook as he took the top prize in season 7.

I never thought she'd get around to putting out an album and using her chops, but she has and here's a sample from her upcoming debut album, Without Regret (out April 6). The first single is called "Mess Of You" and it's anything but a mess. Instead, it's a dark, brooding and hooky rocker reminiscent of Idol season one winner Kelly Clarkson's last disc.
