Victoria Justice is making her teenage jewelry obsession an adult dream.

“I went through an entire phase when I was like — the beginning of Victorious — 16, 17, where I was obsessed with feathers,” she told Us at the Swarovski Nice or Naughty Holiday Celebration on Tuesday, December 10. “And literally, every single day before rehearsal I went to the flea market — and I had like 20 different pairs of feather earrings — and every day was a different color feather.”

While she has now moved past the obsession, she has found a way to do feathers like a sophisticated grown-up — or as she calls it, “fancy feathers.” — thanks to Swarovski.

The iconic brand’s Naughty and Nice holiday collection features a ton of different feather-shaped sparkly embellishments, from rings to earrings to necklaces. So, naturally, the 26-year-old was a perfect fit to align with the brand.

Along with feathers, she loves the sparkle aspect when it comes to these accessories, especially for the holiday season. “Your eye just gets drawn towards it.”

However, for day to day, she’s much more of a boho-type, swapping out sparkly stones for gems like turquoise, opal and moonstone.

“I’ve always been very much a ring girl,” she told Us. “As I’ve gotten older I’m very much into statement pieces. Like I love gold statement moments.”

One jewelry moment that she did not love was after an amfAR event where her earrings got stuck in her ear.

“I got home that night and it was like some weird screw situation and I couldn’t get it off. And it was like 1:00 in the morning and I said to my stepdad, ‘you have to help me get these off.’” She then brought up the possibility of using pliers, but don’t worry! It wasn’t necessary.

“I don’t know what happened but last minute we figured it out and got them off,” she explained. “But I was so freaked out.” Who could blame her?!
