
Billy Crudup

New Yorker Billy Crudup, born in 1968, realized his love for acting while in college. Afterward, he earned his Master’s in Fine Arts from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU in 1994, and a year later was already starring on Broadway. Shortly after, he landed a part in Woody Allen‘s Everyone Says I Love You in 1996 and two years later was featured in Snitch.
Crudup is best known for his role as Russell Hammond in 2000’s Almost Famous. During one of his Broadway stints, he met actress Mary-Louise Parker and they were together until 2003. They have one child together. Crudup also dated actress Claire Danes.
