
Heather Thomson
Heather Thomson is a television personality, fashion designer and entrepreneur best known for starring on The Real Housewives of New York City and for founding the shapewear brand Yummie. Thomson spent her early years in New York City before going on to launch her career in fashion.
Thomson began her career as a stylist and designer, working with artists including Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé. As the founding design director for Combs’ Sean John clothing line, she helped develop the brand during its early years. After becoming a mother, she launched the shapewear brand Yummie in 2008, quickly turning it into a successful lifestyle brand. Thomson joined The Real Housewives of New York City in season 5 in 2012, later transitioning to a guest role before her brief departure in 2018. She later returned to the show as a friend of the housewives before leaving the series in 2021.
In addition to The Real Housewives of New York City, Thomson has continued to expand her work in fashion, wellness and philanthropy.
Thomson married Jonathan Schindler in 2003. They share two children, Jax Schindler and Ella Rae Schindler. Thomson has spoken publicly about Jax’s liver transplant as an infant and has become an advocate for organ donation and pediatric liver disease awareness.
