Stephen "tWitch" Boss
Boss was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and was given the nickname “tWitch” as a child, since he never could sit still. He studied dance at Southern Union State Community College in Wadley, Alabama, and then Chapman University. In 2003, he became a semifinalist on MTV’s The Wade Robson Project and the runner-up on Star Search.
In 2007, tWitch auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance season 3, but didn’t make the top 20. The next season, he came in second place. He went on to appear as an “All Star” in seasons 7, 8 and 9.
In 2014, he joined The Ellen DeGeneres Show as the house DJ. He also joined Ellen’s Game of Games when it debuted in 2017, as DeGeneres’ announcer and sidekick.
tWitch married Allison Holker in 2013 and later adopted her daughter, Weslie Renae, who she had from a previous relationship. The pair welcomed a son together, Maddox, in 2016, and a daughter, Zaia, in 2019. In 2017, the couple were named hosts of Disney’s Fairytale Weddings.
