From one high-profile relationship to the next. After news of their second split broke in 2020, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have been candid about their ex moving on. While the Beverly Hills, 90210, alum confirmed in May 2020 that he and Fox called it quits after 10 years of marriage (and a brief split in 2015), Green noted on his “…With Brian Austin Green” podcast that they’ve “really been trying to sort of be apart” since the end of 2019. “It sucks when life changes and something that you’re used to, that you’ve been doing for 15 years, you try and not get rid of but you change,” the actor said at the time. “There’s the unknown aspect … there’s that pit in my stomach … I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds … she’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that.” Green and Fox, who met in 2004, share three sons: Noah (born 2012), Bodhi (2014) and Journey (2016). We took four or five dates before we even kissed. It was truly about getting to know the human being, because that’s where we are both at in our lives. BAG’s Initial Reaction to MGK

Green referred to Kelly as Fox’s “good friend” during a May 2020 episode of his podcast, while a source told Us at the time that they had already “hooked up.”

"She’s always had really good judgment, and I don’t want people to think that her or he's the villain or I was a victim in any way with any of this because I wasn’t,” he said at the time. ”I don’t want this guy, Colson, who I’ve never met, who she said nothing but really kind things about, I don’t want him to be vilified because nobody did anything wrong."

How BAG Found Out About MGK

On the “Hollywood Raw” podcast in August 2020, Green noted he “found out” about Fox and Kelly’s romance “in my own way.” He explained, “And that’s as much detail as I’ll give you on that one. I didn’t read about it or anything like that. You can if you ignore [pictures and reports of them] and avoid it which is what I try and do. I try to no read anything or look at anything and not involve myself in it. Just keep my head down and do what I do and focus on the kids. I know she’s going to do the same thing."

Wishing Her the Best

“I wish Megan the absolute best in everything,” Green said on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast in August 2020. “I want her to be completely happy for her and for the kids. That’s super important. Nobody wants to be around somebody that’s unhappy. Nothing good comes out of that. That’s a terrible situation.”

BAG Throws Shade

Days after his nice remarks on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast, Green threw shade at Fox’s Instagram caption with Kelly, which read, “Achingly Beautiful Boy … My heart is yours.”

The BH90210 actor subsequently posted photos of his four sons (he is also the father of son Kassius with ex Vanessa Marcil) with the same caption via Instagram.

What He Knows About MGK

As of late August 2020, Green had “never met” Kelly.

"I've never heard anything bad from him or bad from Megan about him,” he told fans via Instagram Live when asked whether he likes the rocker. “I can say, ‘Yeah, I've heard bad stories about him,’ but I've heard bad stories about myself as well and I know that most of those aren't true. I trust my own instincts on meeting somebody and somebody else whose instincts I feel have always been really spot on, so, as of right now, I have no problem with him at all. …  I really hope that he and Megan are happy because it's important that she's happy. It's important that everybody is happy."

A Parenting Difference

After Green shared a Halloween pic with their kids in November 2020, Fox slammed him and accused him of trying to change the public narrative of their divorce. 

“Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It’s not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren’t in,” she wrote. “I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media. I know you love your kids. But I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture via Instagram. You’re so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year. You have them half the time! Congratulations, you are truly a remarkable human. Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?”

Green later deleted the snap and reuploaded the pic without Journey.

Megan Sends Love to Sharna

After Green gushed, “It’s been a really long time since I’ve been with someone I can truly share life with,” about Burgess in July 2021, Fox replied to his Instagram post.

“Grateful for Sharna,” the actress wrote. The dancer later replied with two heart emojis.

In a Good Place

“The person that Megan chooses to be with and the life she chooses to lead, there aren’t many things that I have control over, nor do I want control over,” Green said during a June 2022 appearance on the “Viall Files” podcast. “I want my kids to have their life with their mom and I want their mom to be happy. They’re not in any sort of danger at this point so why would I step in and interrupt something that’s happening. My idea may not be any better than hers. We’re equal parents.”
