Audrina Patridge Details Romances With Leonardo DiCaprio, Chris Pine, Chace Crawford and More in 'Choices' Book

The rest is finally written. Audrina Patridge covered what went down on — and off — The Hills in her new memoir, Choices. “I really wanted to do this book to help inspire other women and people in one way or another,” the 37-year-old former reality star exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the Tuesday, July 26, release, adding that she still gets “so many DMs from girls that have been through toxic relationships or have been in the same situation I have with friendships or relationships.” Patridge admitted it was “hard” and “a little challenging” when she first started writing the book. “I had a ghostwriter, Jen Schuster, so we would talk for three or four hours every week and it was very therapeutic. It was very cathartic,” she explained. “At times, she pulled things out of me that I was like, ’No, I think I wanna leave that out.’ Or like, ‘Let's just leave that in the past. I don't wanna go back there.’ She's like, ‘Audrina, we need this. We need this from you.’ So with that being said, I had to make the decision. If I'm gonna do this, I have to give 120 percent. I can't give 50 percent. So I just poured my heart out.” [jwplayer wpW7aLuJ-zhNYySv2] The Hills alum added that “there was a lot of moments that were very emotional” that she had to relive, including her tumultuous relationship with ex-husband Corey Bohan — which she was “very hesitant” to write about. “I had to take some breaks in between. And go back to re-talking about certain things, but I did it and now I could actually read my book without getting emotional,” she said. “It's like, ‘I got through this, I got through everything and it's such an accomplishment.’” Patridge and Bohan were married for less than one year when she filed for divorce in 2017 after claiming their relationship was abusive. The former couple share 6-year-old daughter Kirra. “It’s not a secret that our relationship was toxic,” she told Us. “It was such a turning point that that's something that I couldn't just leave out [of the memoir] and pretend it never happened. Because it did change me for the better and it made me stronger and you know, so I had to include that.” Bohan isn’t the only relationship included, however. Texting With Leonardo DiCaprio

During a trip to Vegas for her film Sorority Row, Patridge crossed paths with Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green — and DiCaprio.

“We chatted for a while. He asked for my phone number, and we texted a little after the trip to Vegas, but we never actually hung out,” she wrote, adding that the actor “was very private” and filming the Hills made her feel it was “too tough to make anything work.”

'Not Being Into' Kevin Connolly

“The Entourage guys were big then, and Kevin Connolly and Adrian Grenier were always around and up for a good time,” she wrote, alleging that Connolly was “a total ladies’ man and super flirty.” While she claimed he “chatted me up and tried to make plans a few times,” she “wasn’t into it.”

Dating Chris Pine

During the same trip to Vegas, Patridge met Pine, who approached her and said he thought she was “really beautiful” after seeing her on stage. “Shortly after, we went on a date, and Chris picked me up in his cool, old beaten-up car, which I kind of loved,” she wrote, recalling that he took her to an Italian restaurant.

She added that Pine was “really into jazz music” and "loves to read” but was “annoyed” by the fan and paparazzi attention. They split over schedules and the actor's lack of desire to be on The Hills.

“We really liked each other. We talked and stayed in touch a little after we stopped seeing each other. I have nothing but fond memories of Chris,” she wrote. “He was truly one of the most normal people I’ve ever met in L.A. — and I mean that as the highest compliment."

Short-Lived ‘Audrina’ Show Ruined Her Family

After the Hills ended for the first time in 2010, Patridge filmed one season of a reality show with her family.

“It ripped my family apart. … One of the day-to-day showrunners was very manipulative and purposefully created drama to juice up ratings, often telling my mom one thing and my sister Casey another to pit them against each other,” she claimed, calling the experience “traumatizing” and revealing her sister and mother didn’t talk for a year after they wrapped.

Dating Chace Crawford

Patridge was introduced to the Gossip Girl star through his manager. The actor dined with Patridge, Lauren Conrad and Blake Lively during a trip to NYC shortly after The Hills and Gossip Girl premiered. Years later, the pair, who would “catch up a little” over the years, reconnected at a friend’s house in Malibu in 2014 and “sparks were flying.”

“We were just inseparable,” she wrote after they spent the weekend together. “I genuinely liked him after these incredible few days together, and I had the feeling it was mutual.”

While the Boys star offered her a ride back to L.A., per Patridge, she declined and found Bohan waiting for her at home. “A big part of me wishes I’d told Corey to kick rocks and just gone out with Chace. He’s such a gentleman and so normal and kind,” she wrote. “It would have been fun, if only I hadn’t let Corey back in and screwed up our chance.”

Corey Accused Her of Sleeping With Tony Dovolani

Patridge wrote that Bohan accused her of having an affair with her Dancing With the Stars partner in 2010.

“Every single day, he would make rude, nasty comments about Tony and what he was so sure was going on. Corey accused me of making the dances too sexy and inappropriate, as if I had control over the steps of the tango,” she alleged.

Last Time She Saw Lauren Conrad

Patridge wrote that there was “a lot of turmoil” between her and Conrad that they “couldn’t talk about on-camera at the time” — including the Dancing With the Stars alum’s claims that their mutual agent would give gigs to the Laguna Beach alum that were offered to Patridge first.

“I blamed my agents for this, but it still wasn’t great for my friendship with Lauren. I also found her to be very controlling over her friends,” she wrote. “If you’re in her circle, you have to do and say what Lauren does and says. Otherwise, you’re on the outs.”

Hills viewers may also remember allegations that Conrad hooked up with Patridge’s ex Justin Bobby Brescia. The L.A. Candy author vehemently denied the allegations on the show, but Patridge brought them up again in the book and claimed that Conrad was nicer to Brescia when the cameras weren’t rolling. She also claimed her costar “twisted [it] around to make me sound like I was delusional and out of my mind.”

As for the last time she saw Conrad, Patridge wrote: “Recently I took Kirra to see Disney on Ice and ran into Lauren and her sweet son. We said hello and chatted for a minute before moving on.”

Justin Bobby Update

“The truth is: I cannot say with certainty that our romantic relationship is over. I can’t deny our natural connection and chemistry,” she admitted. “We spent more time together in the last two years — on-and-off camera on [The Hills: New Beginnings] — than anyone realizes. In fact, the show filmed an alternate ending for the finale featuring me and Justin holding hands and walking off set, which never aired.”

Stephanie Pratt Getting in the Middle of Her and Kristin Cavallari

When Conrad left The Hills, Cavallari joined. According to Patridge, Spencer Pratt’s sister would go “back and forth between” her and Cavallari, accusing issues.

“The difference between Kristin and Stephanie is that Stephanie truly is a troublemaker,” she said. “She turns her back on you in a second. And my experiences with her to come, on The Hills: New Beginnings, would prove it.”

Marriage to Corey

Patridge, who also accused Bohan of cheating on her, wrote that she almost made a run for it at their 2016 nuptials. “As painful as calling off the wedding would have been, I regret that I didn’t do that at the time,” she wrote. “I’m still proud that I planned a beautiful wedding in one of the most stunning places on earth — even if it was to the wrong man."
