Bowen Yang
The “Las Culturistas” podcast host joined the SNL writing staff in September 2018 and was promoted to featured player one year later. Yang is the show’s first Chinese American performer and only its third-ever openly gay male star. His playful interpretation of the iceberg that sunk the Titanic quickly became a viral hit during season 46, earning him a 2021 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
