Full Name: Caleb Followill
Hometown: Mt. Juliet, TN
Relationship Status: Married to Lily Aldridge
The son of a Southern Pentacostal minister, Leon, for whom his group is named, Caleb Followill moved with his bandmate brother Nathan to Nashville hoping to hit it big in the music business. In 2000, Caleb, Nathan, their brother, Jared, and cousin Matthew Followill came together as the group Kings of Leon and by 2001 were signed by RCA Records.
Releasing their full-length debut disc Youth & Young Manhood in 2003, Caleb and his band initially struggled to make an impact in the U.S., selling only 100,000 copies of the record. Following concert tours with U2 and Bob Dylan, the Kings of Leon released five additional albums, winning a Grammy for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for their hit "Sex on Fire" and "Use Somebody," which was also lauded as Record of the Year.
Caleb married Victoria's Secret supermodel Lily Aldridge in May 2011, four years after they began dating after meeting at the Coachella Music Festival. The couple welcomed a daughter, Dixie Pearl, in June 2012.
