Best known as one-fifth of the ‘90s boy band *N Sync, Lance Bass was born in Mississippi in 1979. In addition to his remarkable success in the music industry, Bass is an accomplished stage and screen actor, producer, author and philanthropist.

He has appeared in several films, including On The Line and Zoolander, and starred on Broadway as Corny Collins in Hairspray. Bass competed on the seventh season of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, taking third place behind Warren Sapp and Brooke Burke.

Bass added author to his resume in 2007 when he released his autobiography Out of Sync, which debuted at No. 22 on the New York Times Bestseller List. In July 2006, Bass revealed he is gay, and was awarded the Human Rights Campaign Visibility Award in October 2006.

Bass dated Reichen Lehmkuhl (winner of season four of The Amazing Race) in July 2006, though they split in January 2007.
