Levi Johnston

Levi Johnston was born in May 1990 in Wasilla, Alaska. He first gained media attention when Sarah Palin announced three days after her Republican vice-presidential candidacy that unwed daughter Bristol was five months pregnant with Johnston's child. The couple had plans to get married.

Johnston's child, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, was born in December 2008. A few months later, Levi and Bristol broke off their engagement, effectively ending their three-year relationship.

Following the breakup, Johnston gave a series of tell-all interviews about the Palin family, causing public feuds with the former Alaskan governor. The now-aspiring actor and model created headlines once again when it was announced that he would be posing full frontal in Playgirl magazine but at the last minute, opted not to.

Although they called off their engagement two months after Tripp was born, Levi and Bristol reconnected briefly while working out a custody plan for their son before calling it quits for good in summer 2010.

Johnston announced plans to run for mayor of Wasilla in 2010. His campaign will be chronicled by reality TV cameras for a series called Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor's Office.
