Fantasia's family is expanding!
American Idol's season-three champ Fantasia Barrino confirmed that she is expecting her second child during a charity event in Jacksonville, Florida over the weekend, JustJared reports.

"You are the first persons that I share this news with," the singer, 27, told the crowd. "And I share this with you because I can relate to you. And for a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you I don't live my life for folk."

It's the second child for Barrino, whose daughter Zion turns 10 next week. The star hasn't yet confirmed the identity of her baby-to-be. Last August, she admitted that she was having an affair with a married man, Antwaun Cook, and overdosed on aspirin in a suicide attempt.

"I think I was just overloaded with everything, with carrying six years of so much," she admitted of the rocky period.

18Sylvia she makes it people's business when she makes this type of announcement at a CHARITY EVENT which is a public venue where the media is at also. Aquila I know what is going on in Fantasia's life because she is announcing it in a very public even with media. If she wanted privacy then she should have stayed private.
Despite the complicated cirumstances, I wish the best for her and her unborn child. Whatever goes on in her life is her business and I can't judge her for that.
I said this before and I'll say it again...if you have never lived in the ghetto, then you know nothing about what it is, and therefore you need to close the hole in your face. Stop talking about crap you know nothing about. You're only repeating crap you hear/see from the media. Nobody has the right to judge anybody. Nobody knows what's truly going on with Fantasia except Fantasia and GOD. I don't condone her actions, but I'm not judging her either. She's human and will make mistakes. I wish I could like a comment because grnturtle you are so right. She doesn't think! She did not think about anyone else when she got involved with a married man only what she wanted. She did not think of anyone when she allegedly overdosed on aspirin, like what about her CHILD! She only thinks of herself and you have to wonder where her mind is if she even has any. Hopefully she doesn't decide life is too hard and try to take her life again not thinking of the impact that would have on her children. The sad thing is, she makes all those choices, like starting affairs with married men, trying to take her life without a thought to her child. I have a right to judge this woman, if she doesn't want to be judged them don't do things like she did and stay away from the media.

Ah, Leonie?? Sorry but if no one comments adversely on this kind of irresponsible baby-making then somewhere some underage girl is getting the message that this kind of thing is a valid choice. But that girl doesn't have the financial opportunities that Fantasia hasn't yet frittered away. So we must reinforce that unwed pregnancy isn't the first choice.
