Stars like Britney Spears, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Nick Lachey and Eva Longoria didn't always have their sights set on Hollywood.

"I was trying to be an athletic trainer. That's what I was studying in school when I quit to do music," Lachey, 37, tells Us Weekly. "My other real passion is still sports."

Adds Modern Family's Ferguson, 35: "I wanted to be a zookeeper -- until I realized you have to clean up a lot of crap!"

While Spears, 29, has said she wanted to become a teacher, Desperate Housewives' Longoria, 36, had other plans in mind. "I would have gone to culinary school and probably become a chef," she tells Us.
