David Letterman (Sort of) Apologizes to Sarah Palin

David Letterman has apologized to Sarah Palin -- kind of.
The talk show host joked on Tuesday night's Late Show that Palin's daughter had sex with Alex Rodriguez after her visit to a New York Yankees game -- causing the governor to slam him for making "sexually perverted comments" about her 14-year-old, Willow.

Last night, Letterman joked he meant teen mother Bristol, 18, and admitted his quips were in "questionable taste."

Letterman also joked about keeping disgraced former New York governor Eliot Spitzer -- who resigned after being caught with a prostitute -- away from Palin's daughter.

An angry Todd Palin fumed on Facebook: "Any 'jokes' about raping my 14-year-old are despicable. Alaskans know it and I believe the rest of the world knows it, too."
