The star, 30, reportedly shot her last scene as Dr. Allison Cameron earlier this week. While the network has yet to comment on her departure, Entertainment Weekly says her final episode will air in November.

Morrison is the first of the show's original cast members -- including central character Hugh Laurie -- to depart.
Featured on the series since its premiere in 2004, Morrison was engaged to her House costar and TV love interest, Jesse Spencer, but the couple called it quits in August 2007.

36NOOOOOO!! I will not watch the show if she is not on it. Sorry Fox, no more Cameron means no more me. Good luck to Jennifer Morrison in the future!
Sad to see her go, I will continue to watch. Now if it were House, Wilson or Cuddy that would be a different story.
Good Bye House... Jen My best wishes to you. NO Cameron No party
I am very disappointed, I love her character and have never warmed up to the character "13". I was glad at the end of last season to see more of Cameron and Chase and was hoping they would have an even bigger role this season. When the show starts writing out the popular characters, it usually starts to go downhill fast. Is the writing staff so unimaginative that they can't find interesting scenarios that will keep the original cast intact? Another good show on its way down.
This is annoying, but as long as they keep House, Wilson and Cuddy I will continue to watch. Obviously House wont be removed from his own show, but remove Lisa Cuddy or James Wilson and the show is not worth watching.
Well this is a let down. I've been hearing rumors that the original cast was going to be getting MORE screen time. I was looking forward to getting the band back together. Not to mention the added interest of Chase and Cameron being newly married. Why would they take her off the show? She brings a lot of interesting plots with her!
I'm not sure why the producers decided to write Cameron out of the show, however, I am disappointed. I only hope that Jennifer Morrison goes on to bigger and better things. While I don't think this is good for the show I do believe it may be good for Jennifer's career (or so I hope) and wish her the best. However, if 13 continues to get as much screen time (or even more) as a result I will no longer be watching. Getting rid of Jennifer Morrison is bad enough and has tweaked my loyalty to the show. Forcing 13 down my throat will drive me away completely. I'm already recording the show on DVR so I can FF through 13's scenes. If she is on it even more I won't even bother to do that. Now if they get rid of 13 and bring back Cameron, I'll go back to watching the show when it's broadcast in my tiny bid to help with ratings. Until then, the show gets no real support from me as obviously the producers don't care what a majority of fans think anyhow.
Her character was too wishy-washy anyway. Glad they're taking her off. She's a beautiful actress & I'm sure she'll find lots of other roles out there.
sorry to see her leave,as always someone( exec's) isn't watching the show, why must they always mess with stuff that's not broken.
Looks to me like House jumped the shark when they messed up the great formula it had with House, Chase, Cuddy,Foreman,Cameron and Wilson. One never gets bored watching the chemistry between all those great actors.Do the writers think the audience has the attention span of a squirrel or what? By bringing in actors who added different elements like the new Chairman of the board,Houses ex-girlfriend, and the detective investiging House's abuse of Vicodin kept the audience on their toes, not adding all those interns and doctors who added nothing. Why not develope characters like nurses instead of playing them as one dimentional characters, and keep the same formula? The patients already add great story lines that are always interesting. The newer main characters take away that special chemistry that made the show what it was. Change in a series is great, but not the way the producers and writers have been doing it these past two season. I thought House was the best on TV, but not any more. What a disappointment.
This news has made me so angry. Her character was what made me keep watching the show. Her person was what made me happier with life. She is a good person, and she doesn't deserve to be taken off the show! Screw creative reasons! If they were creative, they wouldn't need to keep taking people off the show, they would find stories to suit every viewer's fancy! People don't realize that this is a "cult" audience show. The avid viewers of this audience have their one character that they relate to or fall for, and if you take away one--especially one that has been on since the beginning--you take away a good chunk of the audience. She is the only reason I pull myself away from homework and friends to submerge myself into the realm to TV land. Now I have nothing. I have no distractions from my very boring, very pathetic life. She was all I had, and I was perfectly fine with it. I just hope and pray that you people know what you are doing...
Glad to see her go. Now if they could just get rid of Lisa Edelstein and Omar Epps the show would be perfect.
Wow!! This surprises me. No more Cameron & Chase on the show in Nov. I feel like she didn't show as much honestly since I've been watching House. I wonder if they are going to find a replacement. Whats going to happen to her on her final episode? I hope it's not gonna be another death. Are they getting a replacement? Its gonna be weird w/o her.
To say that I am upset would be a huge understatement. Cutting Cameronâ??s role to a few seconds once in a rare while is one thing, but writing her off completely (especially in a way they are planning to do this) is another. I have always enjoyed watching Cameron in House for her integrity, ability to understand and sympathize with other people, even complete strangers, her strong moral believes and undying wish to see the best in others. Cameron was the character who developed throughout the show â?? she has matured, become more self-confident and yet remained herself â?? she still had the same integrity which attracted me in this character from the very beginning. But writing a role is one thing and delivering it â?? is another. The way Jen played Cameron deserves standing applause, because the managed to express all shades of emotions, we have seen Cameron happy, hopeful, sad, outraged â?? many actors can do it, no doubt, not only few can do the following â?? play and express feelings with eyes, smallest gestures and subtle changes in face expression. Jen can do it, and the role of Cameron gave her the opportunity to show it. Jen was an asset to this show, even in S4-S5 when she got only a couple of phrases from time to time, she did her best for it. Never did she complain about lack of screen time or some turns of the plot, on the contrary, she has always supported and praised this show, screenwriters, her colleagues and producers. Recent news made me very sad for Jen, for Cameron, for the show in general. For me, show will never be the same without Jen.

I don't think I would've been so upset about these news if the producers (Katie Jacobs and David Shore) hadn't been promising MORE Cameron (and Chase) ever since they made the (high unpopular) "creative decision" to bring a new team in. I can understand making "creative decisions" to fire actors who badmouth a show, or who have created polemic situations (i.e. actors on Lost and Grey's Anatomy) but Jennifer has never said one bad word about the show despite the fact they cut her screentime by 90% over the past two seasons. She and Jesse have been extremely diplomatic about the new team, the declining quality of the show and the soap-operaish plots of the past two seasons. It's always sad to see an actor leave a show without apparent due cause, but this seems unusually cruel and a very bad move by the writers and producers.
Good bye House... Jennifer... I wish you THE BEST!
That's it. After Cameron leaves, I'm watching any further episodes online. If I watch them at all. She may have had her annoying moments, but she's definitely my favorite female character on the show. I watch House for Wilson, House, and Cameron...and now she's leaving. I thought the makers were going to be intelligent and at least attempt to go back to the original formula this season...apparently not.
Move on to bigger and better things, Jennifer. I've respected the way you've conducted yourself through all the ups and downs of being Cameron - especially the completely unnecessary wedding to Chase that you had to endure after being engaged to Jesse Spencer in real life. I can't wait to see what you do next.
