Julianne Hough Not Returning to DWTS Next Season

Dancing With the Stars' Julianne Hough is hanging up her dancing shoes -- next season at least.
"I'm not [going back] next season," she said in an interview on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday. "But I love that show."
But she said she may return the season after next. "We're going to cross that bridge when we get to that," Hough told Seacrest.

Hough, 21, said she is now focusing on her film career, which includes the upcoming Footloose with Chace Crawford. Last week, she began shooting the musical Burlesque opposite Christina Aguilera.
"I'm completely battered and bruised," Hough said. "It looks like I've got rug burn all over my body!"

She said they've managed to stay friends. "He's great," she said. "He's amazing."

I believe that she won't be back next season because she's supposed to start shooting Footloose in March when DWTS starts up again. I don't really see her coming back on the show unless they do something special like an All Star season where the best of the best come back to compete in a special season. I think she'd come back to dance with her favorite and best partner ever on the show, Apolo Ohno.
She says that she won't be back - she came back with Chuck Wick - just for the publicity; now that they've used each other up - they will go separate ways, trying her acting ability, singing, etc. I like Chelsea Hightower a lot better; very sweet girl; don't want Julianne to come back.

She is like every soap opera star go make one movie and think that you have it made but YOUR BROTHER IS A BETTER DANCER THAN YOU ARE.. SO go ahead and do it!!! Don't come back this season's dancers are great.. !! WHO NEEDS HER!!
That's what she said last season, and the season before that if I'm not mistaken. She'll be back next season. She just seems to say it every year to hear "Oh please come back" No, seriously, please DON'T come back, and quit your "singing" career while you're at it. You're a disgrace to the music business!
Lets see, she is a dancer (a good one), a country singer (so so) and now she wants to be a movie star. A pretty face and bubbly personality can go along way. She may want to dance periodically in case her other careers don't pan out.
That sucks! Hope she is happy with whatever else she's pursuing but I wish she'd come back to DWTS. She's my favourite pro.
She will come back one day because she still has two seasons left on her contract. I'm so happy for her.
I am sad that she isn't going to be on next season, but excited about Footloose and Burlesque.

GOOD! She got so stuck-up after she won 2 times. Now that she's got her foot in the door in country music and acting - she doesn't want to do DWTS - but if she fails - bet you'll see her coming back. She and Wick used up each other as far as they can go - she is going to acting. Lucky girl - she has many opportunities.
