You can count on the Beastie Boys to kick it old-school -- and keep things from feeling passe. On their boisterous ninth CD, the trio sounds as fresh as they did 25 years ago, throwing down hard-hitting verses over body-moving beats. They even invite fellow hip-hop elder statesman Nas to guest on "Too Many Rappers." (Capitol)
