Us Rating: **

Newcomer Matt Bomer hit it big in this caper as Neal, a con man who avoids jail by helping a no-nonsense fed (Tim DeKay) catch elusive baddies (jewel thieves, corrupt Wall Streeters, etc.). Despite its visual polish and agreeable costars (such as Tiffani Thiessen), Collar rarely reaches the fizzy charm it's striving for. And sorry folks -- Bomer is chiseled, but bland.
