George Clooney's warped sense of humor shines through in this spoof about Lyn Cassady, a U.S. special agent trained in ESP who sets out on a mysterious mission in Iraq accompanied by a skeptical reporter (Ewan McGregor). Along the way, the pair get lost in the desert, encounter both Cassady's mentor (a wacky Jeff Bridges) and his nemesis (Kevin Spacey) and have run ins with terrorists and a herd of farm animals. Still, with its unhinged comedy -- it culminates in an LSD-enhanced goat-liberation scene! -- the flick may not appeal to everyone.
