News of Tree’s death broke on June 14 with CNN Brazil reporting at the time that there were six fatalities and Tree’s name was on the list of passengers given to aviation authorities. Authorities later confirmed that all five travelers, including the pilot in one helicopter, were killed.

A death certificate obtained by TMZ shared that Robert was cremated and his ashes were scattered at sea.

Morris and Hurd welcomed their son in March 2020, nearly three years before they separated. The “Bones” singer and Hurd finalized their divorce in January 2024 after five years of marriage.

She continued, “I’m lucky that we love each other so much still. We have the highest respect, but also there is that devastation that two people [who] love each other that much can’t make it work in the real world. It’s always going to be multifaceted. I think, ultimately, we both knew it was probably going to be better this way, which is a success.”

At the time, Morris gushed that she and Hurd are “great coparents.”

Morris further found that following the judge’s ruling about split custody schedules helped her adjust to their new normal.

As for Phil, he’s been navigating a series of health challenges since retiring from Genesis in 2022.

“You know, I have a 24-hour live-in nurse to make sure I take my medication as I should do,” Phil told BBC Radio 2 in January. “I’ve had challenges with my knee. I had everything that could go wrong with me, did go wrong with me. … I can walk, albeit with assistance, you know, crutches or whatever.”

Moore and Willis were married from 1987 until they announced their separation in 1998, filing for divorce in 2000. The Die Hard actor went on to tie the knot with Heming Willis in 2009. Years later, Willis’ family revealed that he had been diagnosed with the language disorder aphasia. It was later shared that he received a diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.

The variant, because there’s three different types of variants of FTD, the one that Bruce has affects language,” Heming explained on the Monday, June 15 episode of the “Bossticks” podcast. “But there’s another variant that will affect behavior and another one that could affect movement. So here’s three different variants to FTD.”

Heming Willis noted that Willis’ diagnosis “doesn’t” affect his memory.

“That’s a different part of the brain,” she continued. “So when people say, ‘Oh, does he remember who you are?’ Well, he does because he doesn’t have Alzheimer’s, he has FTD. I think that’s a very common misconception that, when you think of dementia, we think of memory loss.”

Moore, for her part, has also been by Willis’ side as he navigates his diagnosis.

“It’s so important just to meet them where they’re at. Don’t have a particular expectation of them needing to be who they were or who you want them to be,” Moore recalled during a podcast appearance in 2025. “When you do that, I find that there is an incredible sweetness and something that’s soft and tender and loving. Perhaps it is more playful and child-like in a certain sense because of how much more caretaking they need.”

“I want as many as we are blessed with,” Venezuela told The Sun in an interview published Saturday, June 20, of her desire to have children. “If you are tortured with one, you may as well have more. It’s part of married life when you love someone like we do.”

Cassie welcomed the couple’s son just weeks after her shocking testimony against her ex-boyfriend Combs, who was arrested in September 2024 and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. For four days, a very visibly pregnant Cassie testified against Diddy, claiming the rapper physically and sexually abused her throughout their on-again, off-again relationship from 2007 to 2018. (Diddy has denied all the allegations against him.)

“I don’t hate him,” Cassie said of her ex-boyfriend during the trial. “I have love for the past, and what it was.”

Diddy was ultimately found guilty of transportation for prostitution, though he was acquitted of the more severe charges. He was sentenced to four years in federal prison. His legal team has attempted to appeal the conviction.

In the months since the Dawson’s Creek alum’s death, Kimberly has been candid about navigating her grief.

“Yesterday was three months since we lost @vanderjames. To say I’m heartbroken is a severe understatement. Words just don’t capture what grief is,” she wrote via Instagram last month. “The comforts of shock have worn off. The reality is settling in … and I miss him. We all miss him. Yet, there is a different kind of magic in the air.”
