
Aaron Eckhart
Aaron Eckhart was born in California in 1968 but spent his adolescence in England and Australia.
After high school, Eckhart spent a few years surfing and skiing before enrolling at Utah’s Brigham Young University as a film major. He graduated in 1994. Eckhart was engaged to actress Emily Cline but they split in 1998.
The actor made his film debut in 1992’s Slaughter of the Innocents, and his career picked up in 2005 with a lead role in the satirical comedy Thank You for Smoking. In summer 2008, Eckhart appeared in the highly anticipated installment of the Batman film franchise, The Dark Knight, as Harvey Dent.
Since then he has also starred in The Rum Diary in 2011, Olympus Has Fallen in 2013, and I, Frankenstein in 2014 amongst other films.
