Corbin Bleu

Corbin Bleu (born Corbin Bleu Reivers) is an actor, singer, dancer and Broadway performer best known for playing Chad Danforth in High School Musical and its sequels. Bleu is the son of actor David Reivers and Martha Callari and was raised in Brooklyn, New York. Bleu began appearing in commercials as a toddler and worked as a child model, later appearing in theater productions. He trained extensively in dance from a young age, attending the Debbie Allen Dance Academy after his family moved to Los Angeles in 1996. He later enrolled in Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, where he further developed his performance skills.

Bleu launched his career with early roles in projects including Beach Movie (1998) and Mystery Men (1999) before his breakout as Chad Danforth in Disney Channel’s High School Musical (2006). The franchise became a cultural phenomenon and turned Bleu into one of Disney’s biggest young stars. During that period, he also pursued a music career, releasing the albums Another Side (2007) and Speed of Light (2009), along with singles including “Push It to the Limit” and “Deal With It.”

Following his Disney success, Bleu built a career on stage, making his Broadway debut in In the Heights in 2010 and later appearing in productions including Godspell, Holiday Inn, Kiss Me, Kate and Little Shop of Horrors. He also continued to appear in onscreen projects including Supergirl (2020), Witches in the Woods (2019) and Camp Hideout (2023). In 2025, he joined the cast of The Great Gatsby for its London and West End premiere.

Bleu began dating actress Sasha Clements in 2011. The couple got engaged in 2014 and got married in July 2016.
