Kiely Williams

Kiely Williams is an American singer, actress and television personality best known as a founding member of the girl groups 3LW and The Cheetah Girls. Williams was born in Alexandria, Virginia, and spent her childhood in New Jersey. After developing an interest in entertainment from a young age, she went on to pursue a career in music at age 13.

Williams rose to fame in 1999 as a member of 3LW alongside Adrienne Bailon and Naturi Naughton. The trio found success with songs including “No More (Baby I’ma Do Right)” and went on to tour with artists including Nelly and Destiny’s Child before Naughton’s departure in 2002. Williams later expanded her profile by starring as Aquanette “Aqua” Walker in Disney Channel’s The Cheetah Girls in 2003. The film’s popularity led to her mainstream success alongside Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and Sabrina Bryan, as well as the creation of two sequels. The group was later formed in real life and toured internationally before disbanding in 2008.

In addition to The Cheetah Girls franchise, Williams appeared in The House Bunny and later starred in reality series including America’s Best Dance Crew. She has also released solo music, including the 2010 single “Spectacular.”

Williams tied the knot with Brandon “BJ” Cox in 2016 after several years of dating. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Rowan, in 2018, and their second daughter, Archer, in 2022.
