Life is better together! Jenna Dewan and Steve Kazee are crazy about each other, and Us Weekly is taking a look back on their love story. News of the Witches of East End alum’s romance with the Broadway star came in October 2018, six months after she and estranged husband Channing Tatum announced their split after nine years of marriage. “We have something we would like to share … It feels odd that we have to share this kind of thing with everyone, but it’s a consequence of the lives we’ve chosen to lead, which we also happen to be deeply grateful for. Shortly after, the duo celebrated fall with friends at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride. In December 2018, Dewan proved she was a proud girlfriend while she and her mom, Nancy Lee Bursch, supported Kazee at his performance of Love Actually Live in Beverly Hills. “Jenna was constantly pointing at Steve when he was on stage and she was clapping and laughing and whispering to people next to her,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly at the time. “She seemed to be having a total blast.” After nearly a year of dating, Us confirmed in September 2019 that the couple were expecting their first child together. Moving on! The professional dancer began showing off her new beau. “He’s super handsome,” an onlooker told Us after the pair were seen together at the Casamigos party. “She was introducing him to people in the group. They were dancing all night.”

The pair cozied up during a date night at WWE’s Monday Night Raw, and shared a series of pictures and videos from the sporting event. Dewan had previously shared that she became a fan of wrestling thanks to Kazee.

This man is the most incredible father, takes care of all of us, this entire house, EVERYTHING,” Dewan captioned an Instagram selfie with her man in September 2020. “He is on his third night of taking the night shift with Callum so I can get rest. More than one year after their engagement, Dewan admitted that she and her fiancé "hadn't even had a chance to talk much about our wedding" during the COVID-19 pandemic. "I am a firm believer in staying in the flow of life. I know I will know when it's right. Same goes for the details of the day," she told The Knot. "I definitely think in the past few years, there's been an emphasis on simplicity and on presence. I'm much more about making what's important really count, which is each other and our family and having a great time celebrating together."

In the same interview, the actress reflected on her "eye-catching" introduction to Kazee years before their romance began. Dewan and her mom saw his performance in Broadway's Once — and couldn't stop thinking about it. "We both went off into the night," she recalled of their "quick" hello. "But I never forgot the moment."
