‘Jonas Brothers Family Roast’ Special: Everything We Know About Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas’ Netflix Comedy Event

Ready for battle! Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas are prepared to bring the heat — and the laughs — in their Netflix comedy special, Jonas Brothers Family Roast. “Jonas Brothers. Pop culture icons. The Announcement

“It’s a one-of-a-kind comedy special that celebrates the universal truth that no one can get under your skin quiet like your family,” Nick announced on October 25 while sitting alongside his older siblings, Kevin and Joe, in a Netflix teaser. “You’ll see us like you’ve never seen us before,” Kevin added as Joe kept saying, “roasted.”

Pete Davidson Gets In on the Fun

The King of Staten Island actor gushed over his Jonas Brothers super fan status in a November 10 teaser for the upcoming roast. “I listen to the Jonas Brothers every time I’m in a supermarket,” Davidson, 28, said in the Netflix clip while wearing an “I love Jonas” tee.

He quieted the audience, asking for them to “show some respect” before commenting on Nick’s acting career. “Nick’s a legit actor now, he’s won everything from a Kid’s Choice Award to a Teen Choice Award,” the comedian said as the Jumanji star cracked up on stage. “Nick even had a hit called ‘Jealous,’ although it would’ve been way more believable if Kevin were singing it.”

John Legend Brings the Heat

The Voice coach trolled the trio for not being the Beatles in an original song from the special. “They made a lot of money / Made a lot of girls scream / Sold out shows wherever they go / I wrote a song to tell them they’re my favorite band / I wish they could hear it, but they’re not here today,” Legend, 42, sang in a clip released on November 19. “No John, Paul, George or Ringo / Just Joe, Nick, I wanna say, Keith / You’re not quiet the Beatles."

The “All of Me” crooner continued: “You’re pretty darn handsome, and better than Hanson, but you’ll never be the Beatles, nice try / You can take them home to granny, but they never won a Grammy.”

Sophie Turner, Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas will all be in attendance and ready to put their husbands in the hotseat. “They come swinging,” Joe told Entertainment Weekly on November 18, of the guests who grill them, noting their wives have “the most ammunition here of everyone who's going to be up on the stage.”

Nothing Is Off Limits

Joe, Nick and Kevin revealed to EW that there’s not “really” anything off limits when it comes to the jokes. “We've had conversations [about] boundaries but we're also brothers,” Joe said of the siblings’ own jokes about one another. “Boundaries schmoundaries. We know what we can and cannot do and, also, we're not trying to break the band up again. My jokes are fun and there's a couple gut punches. You gotta go for it.”
