Who will host? The 2019 Oscars have already been surrounded by controversy. After Kevin Hart was named as the host, since-deleted homophobic tweets from the comedian resurfaced. In December, he decided to step down. “I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists.
