The “Yummy” singer, 26, shared an Instagram photo of the pair spending some quiet time together with the caption, “Lil picnic wif bae.”
In the snapshot, Justin laid down on a plaid picnic blanket while Hailey, 23, leaned against him with her arm outstretched so she could take the photo. The Grammy winner was wearing no shirt and pink shorts, and had his hand down the front of his wife’s black tank top.
By the looks of it, the couple’s picnic included tortilla chips with guacamole and a small meat and cheese platter. There was also a woven basket on hand that held a package of healthy apple chips.
This relaxing outing for the Biebers, who wed at a New York courthouse in September 2018 and had a second ceremony the following year in South Carolina, came two days after Justin paid a visit to Kanye West at the “I Love It” rapper’s Wyoming ranch.
The Chicago native, 43, shared a photo of the twosome on Twitter on Friday, July 24, and wrote: “DD & JB discussing the new spray foam wall prototypes on the YZY campus.”
The “Intentions” singer’s visit occurred nearly one week after West tearfully admitted during his campaign rally in South Carolina that he and his wife, Kim Kardashian, had considered terminating her first pregnancy. The couple now share four children: North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 14 months.
“I was having, like, you know, the rapper’s lifestyle, so she said she was pregnant and for one month and two months and three months we talked about her not having this child,” he told the audience on July 19. “I almost killed my daughter.”
Kardashian, 39, wrote a lengthy post on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, July 22, in which she addressed her husband’s behavior. “Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor,” she explained at the time. “People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.”
For his part, West later apologized to his wife for discussing a “private matter.” He also acknowledged that he “hurt” the KKW Beauty founder.
Though it’s unclear if Hailey joined her husband on his trip to Wyoming, the duo have been making the most of their time together while quarantined amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. In May, the newlyweds cooked pasta together for an episode of their Facebook Watch series, The Biebers on Watch.
“I love doing this stuff with you, babe,” Justin told Hailey at the time, to which the model replied, “Me too, baby! We never cook together.”
The Canada native and the Drop the Mic cohost were at it again later that month when they helped each other bake gluten-free triple chocolate chunk cookies for a separate Biebers on Watch installment.
“I’ve really enjoyed this time with you,” Justin told Hailey at the time. “I know it’s been a really crazy time being in quarantine and the world is kinda upside down, but I’ve really enjoyed spending my time with you.”
A source exclusively told Us Weekly last month that the duo are discussing having children in the near future. “Justin and Hailey have been talking more and more about wanting to start a family together,” the insider revealed. “Having kids in the near future has become a very real conversation between them.”Listen to Us Weekly's Hot Hollywood as each week the editors of Us break down the hottest entertainment news stories!
