Cheryl Burke
BIO
Born in May 1984, Cheryl Burke grew up in a family full of dancers, and began practicing ballet at age four. After taking a few ballroom lessons, Burke was hooked.
She quickly shifted her focus, beginning to compete in ballroom dancing at the age of 13. Burke has seen much success throughout her career; in 2006 she was nominated for two Emmy awards for Outstanding Choreography and featured on the hit ABC show Dancing with the Stars. Burke also earned two consecutive Disco Ball Trophies on DWTS during seasons two and three.
In April 2008, Burke opened her own dance studio in San Francisco. She is currently single, having ended a relationship with Matthew Lawrence, brother of former DWTS contestant Joey Lawrence.
