BIO
James Franco—born in 1978 in Palo Alto, Calif.,— rose to stardom following his role on the short-lived television series Freaks and Geeks, which, although only on the air for 18 episodes, developed a cult-like following among series diehards and Franco fans alike.
Also a writer, producer, and artist, Franco has starred in several movies including Never Been Kissed and he played the role of Harry Osbourn for three feature film installments of the popular Spider-Man franchise.
Franco once dated actress Marla Sokoloff and it was also rumored that Franco dated Sienna Miller while the pair filmed the flick Camille in 2006.
The 127 Hours actor was nominated for Best Actor at the 2011 Academy Awards; he lost to Colin Firth.
