Ashlee Simpson

Texas native and younger sister to Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson (now Ashlee Simpson-Wentz) was born in 1984. At age 11, she was the youngest person ever admitted to the School of American Ballet. After dancing backup for her sister from 1999 to 2001, Simpson-Wentz released her own album, Autobiography, in 2004. Aided by the popularity of a reality show detailing the making of her album, Autobiography achieved platinum status. Infamously, Simpson was embarrassed in front of a national TV audience when she began lip-syncing to the wrong vocal track on a 2004 episode of Saturday Night Live. Simpson married Fall Out Boy bassist, Pete Wentz, in 2008. The couple welcomed their first child, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, in 2008.
