Barely a day old, Jim Carrey's first grandson Jackson Riley Santana is ready for his closeup!
Carrey, 47, posted his very first photo of Jackson via Twitter. As the actor's rep confirmed to UsMagazine.com, the new addition was born at 12:28 a.m. on Friday in Los Angeles.

"Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! This is what 7lbs.11oz. of Calfornia dynomite [sic] looks like! %^>," the star wrote early Saturday.

Little Jackson is the first child for Carrey's 22-year-old musician daughter Jane and her husband Alex Santana (a.k.a. "Nitro" from the band Blood Money). The couple married in November of last year.
"Jane is going to be a great mom," Carrey told Us last July following the announcement of his daughter's pregnancy.

His girlfriend of five years Jenny McCarthy, 37, recently joked to Us that she will make an "awesome grandma...the world's best!

To Bob-I realize Jane has a mom and I extend my congratulations to her as well. Just because Jenny isn't biologically Jane's mom doesn't mean she doesn't love her. Jenny has been a part of Jane's life for five years and has been like a mother to her. Kurt Russell isn't Kate Hudson's biological father but he's been a part of her life since she was little ans she calls him Pa. Jenny is just as much a granmother to baby Jackson and Jane's mother is.
I have been with my "husband" for 10 years and we are not legally wedded. I am 32 and a Grandmother of two. Yes, I got together with an older man, my "step-daughter" is only two years younger than I. I have two biological daughters, one is older than my grandson and my youngest daughter is younger than my youngest granddaughter. We are extremely happy and I love being a mommy and a grandma, even at the age of 32.
Kurt Russell is Kate Hudson's step father - even though Golie and Kurt never married!! Jim and Jenny have been living together and sharing a household for 7 years. She's the step grandmother as far as I'm concerned.

To all of you ignorant people remarking about the fact that Jenny is not a step grandma, who are you to decide that? Speaking from experience I know what it is like to accept and love a man with children and love them as your own too. Not all stepmothers are wicked. There are some of us who actually give a darn and get in there and do the job of a mother. You don't have to birth a child to nurture it. Jane is very fortunate to have someone like Jenny who has simply loved her and been there for her. Yes, Jane has a biological mother too but who is to say that she cannot have 2 women who provide her with love and support? Next time think before you make assinign comments. Baby Jackson is fortunate to have Jenny in his life. Get a life people!
