Just a year and a half after she purchased it, soon-to-be divorcee Katy Perry is getting rid of her and Russell Brand's Big Apple love nest, the New York Post reports.
A "mystery buyer" snagged the swanky two-bedroom duplex, located on North Moore Street in NYC's Tribeca neighborhood, for nearly all of its $2.75 million asking price (Perry, 27, had purchased the pad for around that price back in September 2010, one month before tying the knot with Brand).
The "Firework" singer and her husband of 14 months split last December; according to his divorce filing, the Arthur actor will not seek spousal support from his estranged wife, who is worth nearly $70 million.
Perry, for her part, seems focused on moving forward; lately, the pop star has been spending time with Florence and the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, whom she was spotted making out with at Coachella.
Though her fling with Ackroyd is new, "They're having a fabulous time," an insider tells Us Weekly of the pair. "It's cute puppy love!"
