Elisabetta Canalis went shopping in Milan, Italy on Wednesday afternoon with a mysterious man: Her brother, Luigi.

The Italian model, 32, was photographed visiting an electronics shop just hours before she and George Clooney announced the end of their two-year relationship.
"We are not together anymore," Canalis and Clooney, 50, told Us Weekly in a joint statement. "It's very difficult and very personal and we hope everyone can respect our privacy."

No official word yet on what caused the split -- but the once lovey-dovey pair did have different ideas about matrimony.
Once-married (to actress Talia Balsam) Clooney has evidently ruled out getting hitched again; in January he quipped "I was married...I gave it a shot."

By contrast, the never-wed Canalis told Italian mag Chi this past month, "I am a firm believer in marriage...In the future I will be married, but for the time being I am happy as I am," she says. "I don't need anything to confirm how happy I am."
