4 stars (out of 4)

Hear that? It's the sound of Miley Cyrus having the last laugh as she drops the year's most titillating pop explosion.

This freaktastic tidal wave of dirty hip-hop (courtesy of producers such as Pharrell and features the ferocious Britney Spears duet "SMS (Bangerz)" and the smash "Wrecking Ball."

"I came in like a wrecking ball/ I never hit so hard in love/ All I wanted was to break your walls/ All you ever did was wreck me/ Yeah, you, you wreck me," Cyrus croons on the track.

It also packs kiss-off anthems that point to her union with ex Liam Hemsworth. In "Drive" she wails, "Forever's out the door!" So are her squeaky-clean Disney days.

Please don't stop!
