Amiable characters. Absorbing story lines. Sultry romance. No wonder this light drama, which focuses on a group of girlfriends seizing life in Atlanta, is a hit! In tonight's satisfying tale, prim Val (Stacey Dash) hosts a couples' dinner so she and worldly Keisha (LisaRaye McCoy) can show off their new men. Too bad one guest throws a jealous tantrum and another drunk-dials! The show pleasantly mixes that angst with a relaxed comic sensibility. (VH1, 9 P.M.)
