Tamron Hall, an Emmy-nominated news anchor, can be seen on MSNBC Live each weekday and is an occasional fill-in newscaster on The Today Show.
A native of Luling, Texas, Hall earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism before beginning her TV news career at KBTX in Texas.
While Hall, a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, has substituted for the likes of Keith Olbermann on Countdown and served as a co-anchor on Dateline, she says she also takes time to indulge in celebrity gossip. “As much as I look through the New York Times, they’re side-by-side in my house, Us Weekly and the New York Times,” the anchor has said.Hall lives in Manhattan.
