There for her. Ariana Madix has a tight-knit inner circle that has always had her back over the years.
The Vanderpump Rules star previously gushed about her loved ones, writing via Instagram in August 2022: “I never posted anything for my birthday months ago and now it’s wild to look at these photos because so much has changed. Some good and some sad, but that’s life i suppose! I’m just happy to be here! And my friends are gorgeous in every way 🥰.”
Madix’s friends publicly showed their support when news broke in March 2023 about her split from Tom Sandoval. Us Weekly confirmed that Sandoval’s affair with costar Raquel Leviss ultimately caused Madix to pull the plug on their nearly decade-long relationship.
The former SUR bartender’s brother, Jeremy Madix, was quick to slam Sandoval and Leviss for their behavior.
“It’s funny to watch people social climb and be soooooooo fake that they’re willing to s—t on people that are supposed to be their ‘best friend’ (a term that gets thrown around very often around here) all just to come up or have some sort of story line,” he commented on James Kennedy’s Instagram post about the drama at the time. “This lifestyle and this group is beyond toxic and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. … Toms a try hard having a midlife crisis with his cringy band and Raquel has faked her way to the top trying to make something of her life willing to step on whoever to get there starting with James. Sell out type lame s—t. Let’s all remember that Raquel was a fan of the show before all of this. Does anyone pay attention?”
Meanwhile, Kristen Doute sided with Ariana following their past feud. (The duo previously were at odds while filming the early seasons of Vanderpump Rules.)
“I don’t know why I feel like I need to make this clear, but there’s so many people right now wondering if this is making me happy,” the former reality star, who dated Sandoval before Ariana, said via Instagram Stories that same month. “And you guys, Ariana and I’ve been really good friends for many, many years now. So, I am team Ariana — all day, every day. That’s what’s up.”
The Paradise City star later took to social media to thank the people who were there for her amid the major life change.
“Hi. where to begin? i want to express my most sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support i have received from friends, family, and people i’ve never even met in the last two weeks,” she captioned an Instagram post in March 2023. “When i have felt like i couldn’t even stand, you all have given me the strength to continue and seen me through my darkest hours. to say i have been devastated and broken is an understatement. however, i know that i am not in this alone.”
Ariana continued: “So many of my closest friends are also grieving this loss right now and reeling from this betrayal on so many levels. i am so f—king lucky to have the best support system in the world and i hope i can repay every single person for the love you have shown me. what doesn’t kill me better run. love, ariana.”
