Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars is getting off to a strong start with a two-night premiere — and now fans know exactly what performances they can look forward to after that twist

ABC officially released details about how the pros and celebrities are kicking off the new season. During night one of the premiere on Tuesday, September 15, the male celebrities will hit the ballroom floor, each performing to a No. 1 song from the year they were born — and one male celebrity will be eliminated at the end of the night.

The following night, the female celebrities will make their debuts, performing to a No. 1 song from the year they were born — with another elimination at the end of the night.

There will also be a performance from the season 35 troupe — Carter Williams, Kamri Peterson, Onye Stevenson and Jaxon Willard. The 16 couples will be judged for the very first time this season by returning favorites Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.
