Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood are expected to appear in court on October 6 after she was granted a temporary restraining order against the former Bachelor.
As explained on the new episode of Us Weekly’s “Here for the Right Reasons” podcast, Underwood, 28, has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the 25-year-old graduate student, her house, her car and workplace. The former athlete has also been instructed not to make “contact, either directly or indirectly, in any way” with Randolph.
Us confirmed on Friday, September 11, that Randolph took legal action against Underwood, accusing him of “stalking and harassing her,” sending “unsettling text messages” and placing “a tracking device on her vehicle.” After the details of the restraining order were made public, a rep for the First Time author told Us in a statement, “As this is a legal matter, we cannot provide any comment at this time.”
Underwood and Randolph met while filming season 23 of The Bachelor, which aired in 2019. While they went public with their split in May, Randolph stated in court docs that they called it quits in mid-April. Following the breakup Underwood allegedly repeatedly asked his ex to talk about their split.
“I have a million questions and all of them I don’t know if I want the answers to,” he texted his ex in July, per the docs. “My heart hurts a lot right now and I miss my best friend, my lover and the one person I never expected to lose. I’ve grown so much with you so far and had a list of things I was looking forward to talking to you about over dinner tomorrow. Anyways, I only want the best for you and all of these feelings Are coming from a place of love.”
Randolph also accused Underwood of using “alias phone numbers” to reach out to her anonymously.

“You like playing games huh? Let’s play some games then,” one of the anonymous texts Randolph received read. “Let’s just say we used to be family friends … Have your good time. .. you’ll have nothing but regrets later with how you treat people 🙂 … Totally seems like you’re growing up. Lolz Living at home still.”
