Born May 8, 1981, in Toronto, Canada, actor Stephen Amell is best known for playing the titular vigilante in The CW's Arrow.
Ammel got his big break in 2004 when he played a spinning instructor in Showtime's Queer as Folk. He later appeared in episodes of CSI: Miami, The Vampire Diaries, 90210, Hung, New Girl and Private Practice. In May 2011, the actor portrayed Joran van der Sloot in the Lifetime movie Justice for Natalee Holloway.
The actor is currently in a relationship with Cassandra Jean, who made a surprise exit during Cycle 5 of America's Next Top Model.
