Jennifer Connelly

Jennifer Connelly was born on December 12, 1970, and began her career at age 10 , after a friend of her father’s suggested she go into modeling. By the time Connelly was 11, she’d starred in Sergio Leone’s Once Upon a Time in America but rose to stardom starring along David Bowie in Labyrinth. After completing her education at Yale and Stanford, Connelly returned to the silver screen in films including A Beautiful Mind, Requiem for a Dream and Blood Diamond. Connelly earned a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2007 for her role in Dark Water. She is married to her A Beautiful Mind costar Paul Betanny and the couple has a son, Stellan, born in 2003, who joins Connelly’s older son, Kai, from a previous relationship.
