Maggie Gyllenhaal

Maggie Gyllenhaal was born in 1977 New York and grew up in California. Her breakout role came in 2002's Secretary. After her big debut, Gyllenhaal appeared in Mona Lisa Smile, Happy Endings and World Trade Center. The Hollywood mom received double the joy in 2006 when she not only gave birth to her first child, Ramona, but was also nominated for a Best Actress Golden Globe for her turn in Sherrybaby. Gyllenhaal is engaged to actor Peter Sarsgaard.
