Charlie Sheen's Wife Steps Out After Alleged Scuffle; No Charges Yet
Days after her husband Charlie Sheen landed in jail on domestic violence charges, Brooke Mueller made her first public appearance Sunday. Mueller, 32, was all smiles as she darted around Aspen in a chauffeur-driven SUV.
The 44-year-old Sheen -- who was booked in Aspen Dec. 25 at 11:20 a.m. for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief -- hasn't been spotted since his arrest.
Authorities say Sheen is accused of using a weapon in the alleged case of domestic violence, but police spokeswoman Stephanie Dasaro has not revealed what kind of weapon Sheen is accused of using.
Sheen -- who welcomed twin boys, Bob and Max, with Mueller earlier this year -- hasn't been charged and was released Friday after posting an $8,500 bond. Prosecutors will determine whether to file charges. He is due in court Feb. 8.
In December 1996, Sheen was arrested for attacking ex-girlfriend Brittany Ashfield at his home in Southern California. He pleaded guilty in 1997 and was placed on two years’ probation.
