Video: Inside Giuliana Rancic's "Nightmare" IVF Drama
After suffering a miscarriage earlier this year while undergoing IVF treatments, Giuliana and Bill Rancic have had another setback.
Hours after undergoing an egg retrieval procedure as part of her fertility plan, Giuliana, 36, was rushed to the hospital. The trip is documented on the season finale of the Rancics' E! show, Giuliana & Bill.

"I have never seen her in that much pain in my life," Bill said outside of the hospital. "Her worst nightmare is coming true right now."
The next day Giuliana recounted the night's events to her mom and sister on the phone. "Within about a four hour time period, everything just went downhill," she said. "Abdominal pain you can't even imagine in your life. I was screaming at the top of my lungs."
The internal bleeding came as a result of the egg retrieval procedure. "Sometimes there's too much poking and prodding that could cause bleeding," Bill explained.

6Bill doing this type of interview doesn't surprise me in the slightest him and Guiliana are both fame hungry twits. if a simillar thing had happened to for Example Melissa Newman with either of her pregnancies and her husband Raphel Elkind had done this her dad Paul would've hung him out to dry because he would've viewed it as his heartbroken daughter being betrayed at her weakest moment and having seen what lossing a very much loved unborn child does to a woman's phsyche as he had when it happened to her mother during their honeymoon in 1958 it's not like it was back then when a man wasn't allowed in the opperating room with his wife if something went wrong with her pregnancy nor the delivery room while she was giving birth
This is too much to share with the world. Instead of being with her, Bill is outside doing an interview talking about her almost bleeding out? I don't have a problem with them sharing about waht they went through AFTER the fact, but during???? Seems very strange to me.
She's having IVF issues because she's too skinny to get pregnant. She should focus her attention on all the children in the world who are orphaned and need homes rather than to make nature do something it's not intending to do.
As someone who has gone through fertility, I am just so sad to see this played out this way. The main thing they tell you while going through the process is to keep your stress level down and your life as normal as possible. How normal can it be to have cameras in your face during any part of the process? It's tough enough with a regular life. I have a high-stress job and cut my work day down to three days a week, working two at home on my computer. Even then, it was tough. I think if having a child is really a priority, then a reality show can't be in the equation. Obviously, it's not my life, but just my two cents from having done it already.
