At one point, she tosses what appears to be a can of Red Bull as she sings the line: "Ain't got a care in the world but got plenty of beer."

OK, so there is a supervision and taste deficit here, but we don't have to call Child Protective Services yet. The real problem is that someone thought that this ought to be shown to the world.
Thursday's child you have major issues! SHE WAS LIP-SINGING! She didn't write it or perform. How about you look through youtube and see just how many kids are on there GOOFING OFF FOR THE CAMERA doing EXACTLY what Noah was doing and her age even younger! IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL IT WAS IN FUN! She is not asking to be molested no child ever asks for that! Billy Ray is doing NOTHING wrong as a parent!!! THIS IS COMPLETELY NORMAL FOR CHILDRENN TO DO!!!! Every child goes around dancing and singing to popular songs! MY children sing and dance daily to popular songs and they are younger than she is! They are merely showing how HAPPY they are and ENJOYING themselves! Billy owes NOONE an apology! When kids listen to the RADIO they will hear this type of music and not understand the words! If any other 9 year old girlw as singing this on Youtube, it wouldn't be such a big deal. Leave her alone people, just because her family is famous, she is allowed to have a normal life too.
Oh, and I'm 17... No kids yet... And I think this is trashy. I hope this kid has a good head on her shoulders because she'll need it.
My kids won't be listening to this kind of music until they're older... I say they should be at least 12 before they're singing about getting drunk *rolls eyes* Seriously.. Her parents should do some parenting.
This is not somebody's little girl singing into Mr. Microphone. She is the daughter and sister of two Hollywood celebrities. Miley Cyrus is a major Disney player. Kids pay attention her and her family, and are influenced by her and their actions. Our former spokesperson was Shalane McCall, who played Charlie Wade, Priscilla Presley's daughter on Dallas. Her mother entered her in every child beauty pageant she could, just like with Jon Benet Ramsey. I still have the videotape of seven-year-old Shalane belting out "I'm Gonna Marry Me a Rich Man" that her mother left with us. Maybe Shalane at the time didn't know what the song meant, but when she was 16 she ran away from home and never went back.

tch. my little sisters are great kids, completely innocent, and they love this song. they're kids. they're going to like pop music. this is pop music. the kid probably doesn't even know what "junk" is. get over it. I was singing along to Alanis Morissette songs when I was that age, which were WAY more risqué. and I turned out awesome.
I feel so sorry for Noah, I hope she doesn't get to read some of these comments saying she's gonna be "trash" like her sister, it's disgusting what she's doing etc. She was lip-syncing and it's a chart song, everyone knows it. She's not doing anything wrong and people are just picking on every little thing she does :(

to "Thursday's Child" she doesn't know what the lyrics mean. all she knows is that it's a popular song that's catchy. does sexual molestation has nothing to do with this video? if a child is sexually molested it is NEVER their fault, AND I REPEAT, NEVER!!! no matter what the child does, they are never asking for it in anyway. and also, i'm a child psychology major, and to ground a child for what she thinks is just innocent playful lip syncing to a popular song, will teach her to be ashamed of her who she is and the way she expresses herself, because she did not know it was wrong. if this little girl had written these lyrics, then that's a completely different subject. only a sick, disgusting perverted sicko would see this as anything other then an innocent 9 year-old just messing around
Our children's charity had asked Victoria Justice to become involved with Thursday's Child. Her publicist thought our themes were too adult for her, as her audience is adolescent to young teen. Victoria is 17. Emma Roberts was embarrassed by a sex scene. But Billy Ray Cyrus allowed a video of Noah to be filmed, allowing her to act in a devil-may-care way about drinking beer, being drunk and having guys touch her "junk," which in common vernacular, means her vagina. This is totally in appropriate for a 9-year-old, especially one in the public eye. Nor is this the proper way to raise a child of this age. A good parent would ground his daughter if he found she had acted as Noah did, lip-syncing or not. But apparently Billy Ray doesn't care, because for years he has allowed teenage Miley to flaunt her sexuality. It is not cool to allow one's 9-year-old daughter to behave in this manner. Statistically one out of three girls in the nation are sexually molested. That means there is some "smakin' man touched their junk." But I don't think they thought it was something to sing and dance about. This is totally bad parenting and in the worst of taste, leaving Noah on a path recently trod by Jamie Lynn Spears and Bristol Palin. Cute, it's not and any parent who thinks it's innocent should have had a PARENTING course before they had INTERcourse. Bad taste? OF course. This ABSOLUTELY requires a public apology from Mr. Cryus. Maybe when he lost his mullet he also lost his common sense.
